    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Knowledge of welding/ Fabrication defects, Program Management (Co-ordination of all activities to ensure that the projects deadlines are met – like follow up for RM with suppliers
    • Follow up for procurement of various components/ sub-assemblies required for final assembly
    • Ensure that all components/ sub-assemblies are procured within the given time lines
    • Inspection of various components/hardware/ sub-assemblies required for bogie.
    • Reporting the status of all activities on daily basis to GE/ Accurate
    • Should adhering Good Leadership Qualities
    • Ensure minimum Reorder level is maintained at warehouse
    • Instrument knowledge like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, PPG, TRG etc.

Our Students Internship Experience

I am Daksha Mohite, a student of MIT-WPU (Pune) pursuing MBA degree in HR. According to the college curriculum, every student has to go 2 months of summer internship program.
I would like to share my experience when I was pursuing my internship in Accurate Sales and Services Pvt. Ltd. This was like an introduction to the corporate world. I worked for Third party inspection under the guidance of Strategy head (Ms. Aarati Parkhi) who was assisted by HR executive (Ms. Sheetal Vasav).
In the initial days I was a bit confused by the extreme workload as I was a newbie to the firm and its routine. I entered the company when most of the third-party inspection projects were in a critical phase and projects were falling apart, the employee attrition had drastically increased. I was at sixes and sevens as my other colleagues were also facing the work crunch. But this phase proved to be a plus point for me as I got a chance to experience and learn many things which couldn’t have been possible in a normal smooth functioning scenario.
It was getting harder for me to get familiar with the working environment as I was unclear with projects and the operations team who was handling the projects. But Aarati Ma’am gave me the liberty to experiment and explore the projects. She involved me in all the tasks, field visits, recruitment drives and made me acquainted with the work process by giving me the charge. It was Aarati Ma’am who believed in me and gave me the chance to grow. She always said make as many mistakes which always encouraged me to give it a try. Sheetal Ma’am was a support system to me through out my internship as she guided me on each and every step helped me patiently in every task. HR head Ms. Bharati Salunke and the HR team, Mr. Navnath and Mr. Ganesh guided me in various other HR functions like administration and statutory compliance. All the office employees treated me as a family and especially the third-party inspection team (which consisted of operations and HR department), all made me feel so comfortable and homely in the company that I never felt I was just an intern there.
I got to learn almostall the functions of HR in a very short time from drafting of mail to all the major functions like sourcing, recruitment, exit process, competency mapping, etc. Working in any MNC also wouldn’t have given me a chance tolearn so many things in such a short span. Accurate and especially the third party inspection department has considered me as a family which made 2 months of internship so easy and work was a fun for me. My best experience which I truly enjoyed was the campus drive. I am grateful to whole team of third party inspection for making my internship full of knowledge with fun.
